Jason Markey is an Associate Attorney at the Palazzo Law Firm. He is lifelong resident of the New Orleans area and graduated from Archbishop Shaw High School. Jason received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL.

While at Spring Hill College, I was a member of Phi Kappa Tau fraternity and the Spring Hill Rugby Club.

After graduating college, Jason began working for Chartres Corporation, a subsidiary of Hiller Investments. While working full-time, he attended the civil evening division at Loyola University New Orleans Law School. He was elected as the student government representative for his law school class and was also a member of the Real Estate Law Society. After being admitted to the practice of law in 2005, Hurricanes Katrina and Rita devastated Louisiana. Because of his construction background and the vast amount of litigation flowing from these storms, Jason’s practice quickly centered on construction law and insurance defense. In April 2012, Jason decided to walk away from a steady and secure job and take a risk to start his own practice at The Palazzo Law Firm. It was a risk worth taking. He recognized that he was better served to help those who were injured and wronged by others. At the Palazzo Law Firm, Jason’s practice focuses on personal injury resulting from motor vehicle accidents, premises liability and products liability. He also handles criminal defense, successions, and real estate closings.

I work in a family atmosphere. We approach every case in an aggressive and efficient manner so we can get our clients optimal results. From the moment you call our office or walk through the door, you are given the respect and attention you deserve by the Palazzo Law Firm staff. Hopefully, we never have to meet because if we do, it is likely that you have experienced harm and injury. However, if you have been injured, you do not have to face the fight alone. It would be an honor to fight for you! I am married to my wife of 14 years, Nataleigh, and have two children, Colin and Ainsley. When I am not at work, I can be found pacing the soccer sidelines at Plantation Athletic Club where I manage my son’s competitive soccer team. I am also a season ticket holder and a diehard fan of the New Orleans Saints and a fanatic for all things LSU. I am also a proud member and co-lieutenant in The Krewe of Thoth, a club known for its community values, generosity, and philanthropy. I am a “foodie” at heart and enjoy dining at the various well-known establishments and hidden gems throughout our city. Most of all, I enjoy and cooking and grilling for my family and friends. “I help those who desperately need and deserve help. I take a personal interest in my clients as I enjoy getting to know them and their family. Because of this and the results I have achieved, many of my clients have referred their family and friends to me for representation.” Jason J. Markey
