One of the most aggressive trial attorneys in the country, committed to getting the best results for his clients.

A native New Orleanian, Leo graduated from Holy Cross High School, later obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of New Orleans, and then his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School, where he served as the Study Body President, Lead Attorney in the American Trial Lawyers Association Trial Competition, and member of the Clinic Program, successfully trying and winning cases on behalf of individuals’ rights.

After graduating from Loyola School of Law, Leo opened the Palazzo Law Firm. Leo is admitted to practice in all state and appellate courts throughout Louisiana, the Federal Western, Middle, and Eastern Districts, the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal, and the United States Supreme Court.

Leo has won multi-million-dollar awards for his clients; has successfully obtained acquittals and dismissals in multitudes of criminal proceedings; and has successfully negotiated multiple millions of dollars in contracts negotiations and settlements.

One of the many acknowledgments of Leo’s skills and competence as a lawyer is the fact that most of his clients are referrals from other lawyers. Leo is proud to be considered the “lawyer’s lawyer.”

Leo is actively involved in his community behind the scenes. He loves the outdoors, walking on this earth, hiking in the mountains, fishing, hunting, riding bikes, boating, and all types of outdoor activities and sports. He resides in Belle Chasse with his wife Dana and teenage son, Leonardo.

My aggressive, sincere, and honest reputation in the practice of law has given me a highly-respected reputation in the legal community. I am confident about my abilities to represent my client’s interest. I am viewed as a leader who is personable with excellent communication skills. I am not interested in accolades or plaques. I am interested in results. Leo J. Palazzo
